De-armouring

De-armouring has its roots in various traditional cultures, particularly in shamanic and tantric practices. Originally, it was used as part of rituals aimed at releasing emotional and energetic blockages that hindered the flow of life energy (often referred to as prana, chi, or kundalini). Shamans believed that these blockages arise due to trauma or suppressed emotions, which accumulate in the body as physical “armor.”

These blockages often form as a result of stress, trauma, or repressed emotions and can manifest as physical tension, pain, or emotional detachment. Through gentle pressure, massage, or energetic techniques, this “armor” is released, allowing the free flow of energy within the body, deep relaxation, and access to stored emotions. This process fosters regeneration, emotional healing, and the restoration of the body and mind to their natural balance.

My Story

“When I was 20 years old, I stopped drinking alcohol and using marijuana and began practicing yoga and meditation. Unfortunately, due to a traumatic meditation experience, I struggled to connect with my body. Whenever I tried to feel my body, it would completely shut down—fog, forgetfulness, and various protective barriers would emerge. Kambo in 2011 was a major ‘game changer.’ It helped release traumas, opening up relationships and improving abundance, but it still wasn’t entirely ideal. In 2012, the ‘De-armouring’ method came into my life. It allowed me to experience internal traumas and emotions in a safe space, without the possibility of escaping or shutting down.

In 2013, there was a significant breakthrough—another major trauma was released, one that had been blocking abundance in my life. After a few months of integrating this process, a profound financial abundance followed. At the start of the process, I was nearly on the brink of bankruptcy, but within half a year, million-dollar income streams opened up, which was a huge miracle for me. Coming from a poor family, as a former homeless person who swept garbage in the UK in 2004, I had always struggled with finances. I realized how our traumas influence cellular memory and how our cells create our reality. De-armouring became another essential tool that helps improve the quality of life and resolves issues for others very effectively and, most importantly, quickly.”

How Does it Work

At the beginning, we’ll have a conversation about your intentions and needs. We don’t delve into the past; we simply focus on having clarity about what you want and where you want to go. Ideally, we work with a topic you’re currently feeling in your body or can bring into the present moment by recalling a negative experience, situation, or fear—for example, how you feel when imagining a partner leaving you.

We always start with non-contact techniques, either to partially process and open the topic or, in the case of women, to address nervous system responses that arise when imagining being touched by a man. Many women are not subconsciously relaxed in the presence of a man, so it’s essential to first ensure a full sense of safety. I have several effective tools in my “toolbox” for this. Then we work with the current emotions in the body, aiming to bring the intensity down to zero on a scale of 1 to 10, which we achieve in most cases. This involves working with pressure points, breathwork, voice, and energy.

Thanks to a combination of bodywork techniques and practices from Hawaii and Brazil, as well as extensive experience, I now have a very high success rate. Some traumas can be processed permanently in as little as 20 minutes. However, deeper and more long-standing issues naturally require repeated sessions. While you may leave feeling calm and with a sense of emptiness where tension once was, the issue can sometimes resurface, requiring additional sessions. Alongside releasing these topics, it’s equally important to learn and integrate skills we lacked in the past, which led to stress, tension, or trauma. These often include setting boundaries, communicating with aggressors, or taking better care of our own needs. Part of the process is also improving areas of life that were previously deficient. De-armouring is not therapy, and I don’t consider myself a therapist. It’s bodywork that creates a safe, playful, and enjoyable space to access areas within the body where attention was previously unable to reach, allowing you to experience what needs to be processed. At present, I work exclusively through clothing and no longer engage in de-armouring involving sexological bodywork. However, if necessary, after some time working through clothing, this option can still be made available.

My Experience

“I am a certified Kambo practitioner, Iboga facilitator, bodyworker, and massage instructor with 22 years of experience and over 21,000 treatments and applications completed.

In my work with medicine, I integrate my extensive experience in bodywork, which often leads to outstanding results.

My goal is to create a safe space for healing, transformation, and a deep connection between the body and mind, facilitating their full embodiment.

I don’t consider myself a shaman, guru, or teacher—I am simply someone who has undergone intense life experiences and years of practice. From this place, I find joy in sharing my tools and working with them in ways that bring others the profound changes they’ve brought me.”

Testimonials

I have been regularly attending de-armouring sessions with Vojta at Mahalo for about a year and gradually participated in almost all of the courses. I started courageously with the shadow course, which surprised me with its unconventional approach. During it, I confronted some of my own shadows, which led to interesting life consequences. That year truly gave me a lot in various areas. I learned bodywork techniques, ways to relax and enjoy working with others, how to consciously give and receive, transform energy, stop playing roles, and openly ask for what I need. I acquired the basics of Hawaiian and other massage techniques, met many inspiring friends, and brought a lot of new insights into my life and massage practice. Many of these experiences are still useful to me, and some connections are still gradually clicking into place, opening new horizons. This time was exceptionally enriching and transformative for me.

De-armouring helped me get rid of my fear of men, which was caused by past relationships with men with personality disorders, physical and psychological abuse, including a brutal assault. After just two sessions, which were done through clothing, I stopped reacting with freezing. Gradually, I have started to accept men as friends, I no longer feel resistance towards them, and I am no longer afraid of them. In their presence, I am relaxed, and I don’t mind when a completely unfamiliar man enters my personal space. De-armouring also helped me work on my self-confidence and blocks, such as questions like "What do others think of me?" or "Am I good enough?" I am deeply grateful for this significant contribution to my personal growth.
